| Creates a uniform definition of assisted living residences and requires disclosure of the residency agreement, service provided, fees, admissions, criteria, termination and discharge procedure, and resident's rights; requires all such residences to account for all things of value owned by each resident and held by the residence; requires every entity operating as an assisted living residence to either be licensed by or register with the commissioner of health; establishes civil and criminal penalties for violations of such provisions; establishes the assisted living residence quality oversight fund. |
