A parent should never have to choose between their job and their family. It is a priority to improve our child care system and ensure every child has the safe, nurturing care they need to thrive.

The NYS Assembly would improve our child care system by:
  • Improving access to affordable, safe and reliable child care
  • Examining the causes and effects of New York’s child care crisis
  • Expanding eligibility for child care assistance to working families
  • Aiding SUNY and CUNY child care centers
